Committee Terms of Reference (TOR)
endMS Education and Training Committee
Duties and Responsibilities:

To oversee new program development, guidelines and procedures

To monitor and assess existing programs
-
To initiate and guide program evaluations
-
To facilitate discussions about program priorities for the Training Program, and
-
To maintain the confidentiality of discussions regarding the Training Program.
Expectations:
-
Experience with multiple sclerosis either as a researcher, knowledge user, trainee, or person living with MS
-
Commitment to building research capacity in Canada through training opportunities.

Living in Canada

Commitment to comply with the duty of confidentiality related to the committee discussion and documents
-
Availability, capacity, and motivation to commit the requested time (virtual meetings) Most meetings are up to one hour and are held between the hours of 11 am and 4 pm eastern time to accommodate participants across the country. (2 years with potential renewal).
Assets but not required

Previous involvement with MS Canada and/or the Training Program

Previous involvement in educational programs

Previous involvement in an organization’s governance

Ability to communicate in French
Meeting frequency: zoom/video conferences every 4-6 weeks (as needed) lasting up to 1 hour.
